Every so often we receive memorabilia from the community on the James Francis House or The Calistoga Hospital. Senator Art Torres’ sister passed this article to us from the Calistoga Tribune of December 2006. So much history and for some neighbors, so much memories.
Our steel doors and steel windows are on their way from Connecticut.
The best part of moving to Calistoga is knowing that I will be around these lovely and kind friends. Thank you Marta and Lee for organizing and hosting this welcome party. We cannot wait to be part of this beautiful community.
Tiling the bathrooms was a 2 week intensive project. Next up, the sink legs, the slabs for the sink counter and the faucets and fixtures.
God is in the Details. And it shows !
Mayor Chris Canning came today to visit and see how the project is shaping up. Thank you for your support Mayor Canning !
No. We are not painting them fuchsia. This is the waterproofing membrane before the tiles are laid. Assembly style system is employed here: so all bathrooms get this first and then the tiles, followed by the slabs and grouting. The challenge is that its been rainy and humid lately so we’re cranking up the heat…
Main Doors with basic Primer are getting a trial install. Now that it fits into the door jamb, it is taken down again for final painting.
We are in the spotlight, twice this week ! This time at the North Bay Business Journal. See article here
