The deciduous tree we would like to have at the entrance of the Francis House. Imagine… four of these, in each corner of a “square” and an old style fountain in the center. Wouldn’t that be so welcoming ?

Receiving Insulation on a Sunny Day
SDI Insulation started work today. Their work is limited to the 3rd Floor as the 2nd and Ground Floors have natural stone insulation. This should be done by tomorrow and then the roofers take over to create the long awaited (Mansard) roof. Dear Sun, glorious sun, please stay !

Myrtle Street in the Tenderloin…we were doing a walking tour and voila… that street looks familiar but we’d rather be in the same street in Calistoga.

Organizing Pots & Pans
Looking thru my kitchen portfolio for past clients : I need to think about how I will be organizing pots & pans & their lids for the Francis House. Richard has vetoed hanging pots and pans overhead the island so we may go with either of this.
