The Francis House reopened this autumn following an extensive three-year restoration.
Dubbed as the Philippines' first resort-themed airport, Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) Terminal 2 showcases distinct Filipino design through a collaboration between the interior designer Budji Layug, architect Royal Pineda, and Cebuano furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue. MCIA Terminal 2 welcomes passengers with a series of graceful arches and a glass façade that reflects the hues of the sky. Add to this, the airport features check-in counters accented with coloured lighting as well as traditional weaving details by Dedon, and the largest Duty Free in the country to date.
