So excited to find your blog and be able to watch the restoration of this once beautiful home. I have been interested in this property since I first saw it many years ago while my husband and I were visiting his uncle who also lives on Myrtle Street in Calistoga. When we visited last year around this time of year, I read in the local paper of the plans to restore this once grand chateau and was elated that someone was able to attempt this massive undertaking.
