Now the front photographs will no longer have the plywood board as the centerpiece ! The week, with some rain that came our way, gave us time to do some work indoors. The main entry doors are now up ! But wait, it will look better than that when the glazing and the brass rosette…
Our St Helena blacksmith, Silver, did a marvelous interpretation on the front gates that he derived from my design of the iron balconies. Very happy with the final product and you can see Richard is proud !
Here is the first (unfinished) installment for our glazing on the main entry doors. Progress is good.
Take 3 and still need some revisions. Napa Craftsman Robert Pappas has been a fun collaborator in this.
Main Doors with basic Primer are getting a trial install. Now that it fits into the door jamb, it is taken down again for final painting.
It looks beautifully different without the scaffolding. 🙂
