Painted Original Redwood Architectural Ornaments and Trims Wooden Sheathing for the Third Floor is Underway And re-installing all the original restored windows We are thankful for the rains but now it is time to hustle. The roof is a major event !
I know… I know… it looks like nothing much is happening but next week of good weather means full throttle on getting the trusses and wood sheathing in place. We target a roof up by April Fools Day (and that’s no April Fool’s prank !)
The third floor is getting a lot of attention on days like this.
It’s all about the windows this week and boy are they looking fabulous. There are no short cuts in restoration and in the end we won’t be able to tell which one was original (thanks to that magic template).
