Street drilling and trenching for new 8″ water pipes for the Francis House and a block beyond! Our gift to the City.
The redwood sidings for the Utility Building are cement washed to give it an aged finish that also accentuates the circular saw cut that we intended.
I was astonished that we had to replace the water pipes ! Well, fifty years ago (when the property was last inhabited) they had an inch diameter cast iron water pipes. I wouldn’t think that would be safe for me, for our guests so here are new 8″ vinyl water pipes for the Francis House.…
While the original stone in the main building is beautiful, these redwood planks for the sidings on the utility building is getting us psyched 🙂
This week was a busy one. For starters: we decided on Indian Kota Bluestone for our rear hardscape by the pool. Balconies were tested for fit; And the last stone apron we restored from the original stone was installed.
