Monday Breakfast: the Francis House version of “Smørrebrød”
Eggs of many kinds, cooked many different ways. I happen to enjoy hard boiled eggs with the yolks a tad runny and ALWAYS accompanied with my obssession, crunchy sea salt (Brittany or Anglesey).

The deciduous tree we would like to have at the entrance of the Francis House. Imagine… four of these, in each corner of a “square” and an old style fountain in the center. Wouldn’t that be so welcoming ?

The balloons are a frequent sight in Calistoga but on special days you get a quadruple treat. Simple breathtaking.

SDI Insulation started work today. Their work is limited to the 3rd Floor as the 2nd and Ground Floors have natural stone insulation. This should be done by tomorrow and then the roofers take over to create the long awaited (Mansard) roof. Dear Sun, glorious sun, please stay !
