The small footprint of the main building is to enough space for “commercial” size laundry machines and food storage. This is the solution.
A good friend of ours passed by the Francis House today and shared a conversation of some passersby on Harley’s: “How wonderful that this building is being restored after 50 years of abandonment.”

The original Francis House had a second set of gutters on the upper part of the roof. We are recreating this today using metal that will be painted black that will blend in with the custom wooden shingles on the Mansard Roof.
The age of the Wood speaks volumes. They are like wrinkles in a woman’s face: with a history and a story.
