While waiting for my next appointment at the Project Site, I went browsing at Carmel Gallery 2 blocks away and saw this sepia drawing on the wall.

It is the City of Calistoga depicting so few houses, and deeply an agricultural city.

The Francis House stands prominent at the corner of Myrtle and Spring Streets.

The drawing is by the artist E.S.Moore and drawn in 1889, just 3 years after the original James Francis House was built.

The Francis House is two blocks away from the main drag Lincoln Avenue (which is where the Gallery was located).
