It’s all about the windows this week and boy are they looking fabulous. There are no short cuts in restoration and in the end we won’t be able to tell which one was original (thanks to that magic template).

After 50 years of neglect, some windows still have life in them. The ones that do, we “resuscitated” and then the real work is in replicating these old growth redwood windows and trims by hand, mimicking the way they were done a century ago (without the hair dryer of course).
