I was astonished that we had to replace the water pipes !
Well, fifty years ago (when the property was last inhabited) they had an inch diameter cast iron water pipes.
I wouldn’t think that would be safe for me, for our guests so here are new 8″ vinyl water pipes for the Francis House. As a gift to the City, we are contributing and extending the pipes to the next block.
That section parallel to the curb (shown where the concrete is drilled) is the location where the new water pipes will go.
